True North Guiding offers incredible fishing charters and hunting adventures. Located on North Vancouver Island for the fishing season on the pristine calm waters of the Queen Charlotte Strait on the inside passage.
Hunting adventures take place in the breath taking Southern Interior and remote Cascade mountain ranges, which provides various species of wild game.

About Your GuideI have been fishing and hunting all my life, the outdoors are truly a part of me. I grew up with a love for exploring and learning as much as possible. Living and growing up on North Vancouver Island, I fished the East and West coast extensively, becoming very familiar with this area. I love the ocean and have been an avid fisherman all my life. Along with the support of my wife and four children, I am living my dream of running a chartering business. |
True North Guiding is a hands on owner operated business which became a reality in 2000 when I started working for Otter Lake Guide Outfitters. I gained guiding expertise in high country pack horse trips, remote backpack hunts and winter hunts for cougar, lynx and bobcat. I am very proud of the skills and knowledge I have acquired over the years. I have been successful, excelled and have had many return clients throughout my guiding career. I am extremely outgoing and have a wonderful rapore with others.
My goal is to ensure that each person that comes with True North Guiding has an unforgettable and rewarding outdoor experience.
